PSA: I'm alive and...

I'm trying to offload some David Crowder tickets for an Austin concert. TOMORROW. So, if anyone's interested, the offer starts at $15 and will work its way down throughout the day. I have two tickets, or you can come down and see it w/ me, haha. It's only a 5.5 hour drive from S'port! ;) haha, seriously though, I had to try.
Seriously, call or email ifyou're seriously interested (is this serious enough? ;) )

This doesn't happen very often, but...

My fave artist, Andy Osenga, is giving away a new acoustic EP FREE!!!! As in totally free, no catches, no tricks. And it's AWESOME.

Did I mention he wrote it in a week and a half? Totally based on fan-submitted ideas? It covers everything from tornados to bank robberies to alien abductions. Seriously, it's that awesome. Oh, and did I mention I'M ON THE CD? I'm in the choir of the first-ever Webground vocals... one of 50 or so people who recorded their vocals and mailed it in for inclusion on the last track, "Swing Wide the Glimmering Gates". I mean, come on, that's worth the price of admission in itself, isn't it? Do I need to remind you, it's FREE?

Go check it out, give it a spin or six, and if you like it paypal him a few bucks. Or if you don't like it, don't... just pass it on!

This is why I love indie music... and indie musicians who aren't afraid to be real people and let the world see it.

Quick update...

Hey guys and gals,

613 Media and Barnes & Noble present: Bruce Hennigan book signing! The signing will be going down at the B&N on Youree Drive from 2-4PM tomorrow, Saturday, May 12. Be sure to stop by, say hello, and get a book signed! I personally am a biased source, but I think the book is amazing... and I'm not afraid to be critical with my dad, ha. Jennifer also enjoyed it... once she finished her school work, she polished off the book in about a week. Fast read, I'm betting you'll love it. If nothing else, show up and share the love! I hear some folks will be modeling some new t-shirts...

See you all very soon!

FREE!!!!!,

Sean

Three days, three papers...

"I am flattered. Also terrified that this is a great responsibility...
I shall dedicate myself to nothing else from now until the inauguration.
I will not sleep, eat, drink, nothing. The words and I will be locked in mortal combat
until one of us surrenders. Now go on, I must give myself over to my muse.
I'll be in touch."

- G'kar , Babylon 5 episode "No Compromises" (and a great description of my life right now)

Sometimes...

My parents have a Jack Russell named Romeo (in case you haven't been by my house, uh, ever :) ). When he hears something he's unsure of, he cocks his head sideways, as if a change in angle will somehow help him see and understand better.

Today, unfortunately, Jenn & I got to hear a marriage fall apart... at least, the parting shots of a crumbling marriage. How many little steps led to that place? I don't know... I can't begin to fathom it.

Sometimes life just makes me want to cock my head sideways.

See you all on the other side of papers.

Sean

"When you're all alone
When you count it out
When you're swallowed up inside the shadow of a doubt
With your faith worn thin
As your sorrows rise
And you're forced to find the words to say your last goodbye
Your tears will be my tears
Your tears love, will be my tears
On the darkest night" - Jeremy Casella, "Darkest Night"
